These new fitness programmes are designed to encourage people who do not feel inclined to attend a regular gym or aerobic class and would like to aim at something more simple and within their capabilities.
All running sessions will gradually build stamina and endurance along mixed terrains. Sessions will concentrate on increasing speed and will include Interval training in the Park and Beach circuits to promote fitness levels. The use of kettlebells to increase strength and Xco trainers to burn 33% more fat. Nutrition and fitness handouts are available. Training sessions will vary along the Coast of Herne Bay, Reculver, Swalecliffe and Whitstable. Each course will last for approximately 45mins to 1hr and will take place on the same days over a period of 10 weeks. Sessions start from £3 per session. Each member will receive a Log Book, so that their speed and stamina can be monitored. They will also receive a running vest. A bottle of water and a piece of fruit will be available at the end of some sessions. Participants will meet outside the entrance to the Pier on Herne Bay sea front approximately 10 mins prior to the start, for registration prior to the commencement of the programme. |
